It’s that time of the year. Parties after parties with no scope of repeating outfits! It’s a sad yet beautiful reality. I get to wear new outfits or old retrofitted with accessories to give them a “new” look. But then there are always those occasions when just donning a “dress” just don’t cut the deal. There has to be a wow factor – something unique and trendy at the same time, an outfit that speaks about you and your personality. When I think of all these elements I think of Naveda Couture. I absolutely fell in love with their collection when I saw it online, and was itching to get my hands on the outfits I selected.  For my first collab with Naveda, I selected a navy blue capelet. This gorgeous velvet capelet has all the markings of being a standout piece of outfit. Not only that, the rich fabric and intricate  work is surely a show stopper. This piece is versatile as well. One could very well combine this on a dress or just the capelet with a skirt or something skimpy and it creates wonder. The gold work resonates with ultra modern touch with a sense of classical Indian wear. I was thrilled to wear it, and for this I teamed up this capelet with  a traditional long gown to complement it. When you have a statement piece for top, one need not take the focal point away on an outfit by making rest of it look busy. The capelet speaks for itself – and that’s the beauty of it.

 Another thing about this capelet was the ‘closed-neck’ feature which takes care of not having to accessorize it too much. Just a pair of nice ear-rings and you are done. Let’s talk a bit about the gown too. This gown was beautiful and has  a nice finish to match up with the top. The right contours are right places makes this gown very flattering. I loved the fabric on this gown as its flow was soft and natural. A perfect combination for evening wear, parties and social occasions alike. This I must say is one of my most favorite looks for parties. Modern yet aesthetically classic look.
