SWEATER AND LEGGINGS
Hello my Lovelies….
What a time of year this is! Exciting times ahead – though not sure if the weather will be good or not, but a wave of cold weather is here to stay. But hey, who cares, after all we live in a part of the world that experiences four seasons a year, and a chance to dazzle and style for each season – we own the seasons!
Today’s post is all about that transition from Fall to Winter styling. I have been a big fan of oversized sweaters and though this is not one of them, the idea is same. Long tunic sweaters have been like a breath of fresh air this season, with many colors, patterns and cuts. This one in particular is a ribbed tunic sweater with side slits giving a nice flow to any bottoms. I paired it with a faux leather leggings while stepping out for a coffee run. As you might have already known, I love love colors. And since this was pretty much all black ensemble, I decided to pair it with a very earthy beige booties and a pop of color green hat to complete the look. The high neckline allows it to be worn without much accessorizing. Although one could go with anything, but its not completely necessary, though a nice set of long ear-rings would look amazing. Since this day, I have worn this sweater more than a few times with colorful t-shirts and jeans and I must admit, this is one versatile piece that looks great with any look. Trust me, it just works.
Hard to spot, but did you see that trinket in my hand? Well, that was a very special piece of jewelry for me. It was made by my son for that very day, and though, I could not put it around my wrist, I did carry it with me like a prized possession!
