Plaid shirts have been popping up everywhere in the fashion world and if that’s not enough I see so many plaid shirts at work and on the streets. Plaid shirts are a little masculine so pairing them up with a feminine bottoms would make it look graceful as in my earlier post with a slim fit narrow jeans. Check my previous post on the plaid shirt, if you have not read it already.

This time I decided to ensemble it with a high waist skirt. I love the black and white stripes detail of the skirt, it goes smoothly with the plaid shirt and creates a seemless mix of prints. The red stripe heels pops more red to the outfit specially because of the sheer white skirt. Since it’s a little less formal/dress down look, I love to pair up with some bling. And to accomplish this, I added this Francesca’s Southgate Fringe Chain Necklace that goes over the top and add the right amount of bling-n-chic factor to it. These statement necklaces are a must in a wardrobe, especially during the holiday season. I’m definitely going to be mixing in these ultra sophisticated bling necklaces with any simple mash ups to jazz up outfits this year.
